We learned all about the different types of sheep and wool. It was very interesting. I began noticing the differences in the fields.
How long does it take to shear a sheep? Not long for him.
Once the sheep is on his back, he can't turn himself over. By just bracing his leg against the sheep's side, the shearer can finish without fearing the sheep will get up and run away.
Off it comes and all in one piece! WOW.
The sheep are ready,
The dog is getting ready, slowly sneaking up...
The dog was so excited to get his job done and loved being able to herd.
